This unique metal lathe tool accessory will allow the home shop machinist, model builder, gunsmith, custom Cue maker, (Billiards), ornamental wood turner etc. to be able to utilize their Dremel® tool, (or other moto-tool), on their metal lathe's 1/2 inch tool holder and be able to precisely control it's movement! Check the thread of your Dremel tool FIRST and then specify in the drop down list. Made from 1/2", high strength aluminum plate, with a 1/2 in. tall X 1/2 in. wide shank and tapped EITHER 3/4 X 12 tpi, 3/4 X 16 tpi or M18-1.5. By placing the shank in your tool holder, you will be able to use your Dremel® tool as a cut-off tool to very precisely cut your bolts or screws to length! Great for the pen turner who wants to trim the brass inner tube or make his own tubes from bulk tubing! Custom cue makers have found this to be a great item! Precise grinding can be achieved by using the many sizes and profiles of grinding stones, discs etc. on the market while in your lathe's compound.
