Melco T-5500 black hot melt dot material width 30 cm - black nylon jersey backer with poly acrylic dots (polyurethane PU hot melt) on fabric face. T-5500 hot melt adhesive is suitable for a wide range of applications, but is most commonly used for seam reinforcement, all kinds of repairs, knee pads, seat protectors, elbow pads, glove pads, outdoor decoration on wetsuits, dry suits, waders, fishing, canoe/paddle rain cover, etc. It has excellent durability and resistance to salt water hydrolysis. Not only does it force to add or repair the seam, it also remains flexible after application. T-5500 is used after the major manufacturers of neoprene wetsuits, drysuits all over the world and is a proven product. We successfully supply T-5500 in the industry for over 15 years. Instructions for use: T-5500 is applied with one hand iron or heat press. The temperature must be on a medium / medium sharp setting - the residence time is the most important factor, and this can only be determined by experiments - suggest applying pressure in the region of 10 seconds. Ideally, the T-5500 becomes a small piece of waste material first to test for the adhesion strength - after testing and that enough time to cool down, pull the edge, and you should feel a strong resistance. For a good seal, the temperature must be hot enough, the adhesive flow/melted and pressure must be applied across the entire width of the patch.
