How to test if the alarm is working
1.Plug in the power directly, the alarm will count down 60s warm-up,after the warm-up is over, only green light will be displayed, indicating that it has entered normal working condition.
2.Press the SELF-TEST button to check if the CO detector alarms. If it alarms, it indicates that the CO detector is normal and can be used.If the SELF-TEST button is pressed, the CO monitor will not sound an alarm, indicating that the CO monitor is damaged and should not be used.
3.Under normal machine conditions, use lit cigarette gas to aim at the sensor position, when the device has a digital display or an audible and visual alarm, it means the carbon monoxide detector is working properly.
Notes：
Do not install the alarm in dirty, greasy, or dusty places. Avoid spraying air fresheners, hair gel, paint, or other aerosols near the alarm.
Carbon monoxide comes from incomplete combustion of carbon containing substances. Carbon monoxide may come from cars, stoves, water heaters, refrigerators, wood stoves, barbecue grills, gas stoves, natural gas stoves, heating equipment, and micro generators, among others.
Do not test at the exhaust or ventilation of a car, as excessive carbon monoxide emissions from the car exhaust can seriously affect the lifespan of the alarm.
