Also known as tarp corner protectors, corner guards, and trailer corner protectors, our edge protectors have the added benefit of protecting your straps, chains, and trailer tarps. By adding it as a layer between the edge of the cargo and the tie down, the Vee Boards corner protectors distribute the pressure of the tie down (as well as extending the life of the tiedown and tarp from sharp corners). This ensures the pressure of securing the load is not concentrated in one section. The plastic strap protectors have raised edges to keep the straps in place, and is 8 inches long and 10 inches wide to give your straps and cargo more protection. This is commonly used with ratchet straps and winch straps (use 2", 3", and 4" straps), and has a slot opening to secure your strap when you need it. Beside flatbed trailer applications, you can also use these corner protectors for shipping and to protect a variety of cargo such as brick, steel sheeting, drywall, and fragile items. The heavy duty corner protectors are made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), a material that is flexible to conform to your cargo and can withstand extreme weather conditions. They are lightweight and easy to store together when you need to put them away. Can be reused over and over again.
