使用方法等
・準備
使用前に煮沸消毒を行う。※別売の洗浄カップを使用し電子レンジで(500Wで6分、600Wで5分)加熱して煮沸します。または、お鍋で水を沸騰させ、ディスクを入れ約10分間煮沸します。
・挿入方法(スクイーズ)
挿入前に手指を良く洗い清潔にする。
ディスクのリム部分を親指と人差しで握り、ディスクを8の字に持つ。
大きく見えるかもしれませんが、半分につまむとタンポンよりも実際には小さくなります。
(インサート)
垂直位置で下向きに持ち膣口より挿入し、人差し指でディスクを押す。
ディスクを尾骨側へ押し、リムが子宮頸部の後ろに移動させる。
(配置)
骨盤の後ろ側へ手間のリムを押し上げ、ディスクを子宮頸部の周りに正しく配置する。
取り出し方(除去)
取り出す前に手指を洗い清潔にする。
トイレに座るか、片足を上にして立ち指を挿入し、ディスクの手前のリムに引っ掛けます。
中の経血が溢れないように、カップを水平に保ちながらゆっくりと引き出し取り出す。
ディスクを地面と平行に保つことがポイント!

月経カップは(膣管)膣の入り口から途中に掛けて装着するのに対し、月経ディスクは(ディスクは子宮頸部の真下の膣円蓋)もっと奥、恥骨の裏にあるくぼみに引っ掛けるようにして装着します。強い膣の筋肉と恥骨の後ろに押し込まれるので、所定の位置に留まります。カップは膣管の入り口部分にステムがあり違和感を感じる方も多いですが、ディスクは膣管の開口部の近くに位置する部分がないため、より快適に使用することが可能です。
月経ディスクは、月経カップより外径が大きく経血を溜める量も2倍近く多いです。より長時間装着でき違和感も少なく感じられます。
どれくらいの期間置いておくことができますか?
月経カップは約8時間使用できますが月経ディスクは最長12時間使用できます。
