The kit is user adjustable in 3/8 inch increments and will lift the front of your Driver or Passenger seat from 0.375 inches to 1.125 inches. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
General Note: To help prevent cross threading during installation, we recommend verifying bolts and threads by taking the applicable bolts and threading them in by hand to the corresponding hole. Seat Spacers are sloped so make sure the larger side is facing forward. Also, if installing both front and rear Seat Spacers make sure the numbers are facing forward. Same steps apply for the rears, just reversed.
- Step One: Remove any plastic trim at the feet of your seat. Remove both front factory seat base bolts and loosen the two rear seat bolts but do not remove them.
- Step Two: Lift the front seat by pushing back on the headrest or by asking a helper to pull from the back seat.
- Step Three:
- 3/8 Inch Lift/One Seat Spacers Shim - Choose the Long Slotted Seat Spacers and place it under each front seat rail in between the rail and your carpet. The Long Slotted Seat Spacers is for the optional MMP, do not discard.
- ¾ Inch Lift/ One Seat Spacers Shims - Take the Long Slotted and the Middle Seat Spacers and stack them together. The Shims are notched and will nest together. At the front seat mounting point, place the Seat Spacers stack in between the front seat rail and your carpet. Move to step Four. The Long Slotted Seat Spacers is for the optional MMP, do not discard.
- 1 ⅛ Inch Lift/Two Seat Spacers Shims - Take the Top and Middle Seat Spacers and stack them. The Long Slotted Seat Spacers will go on the bottom and can be lined up (front to back) as desired. At the front seat mounting point, place the full Seat Spacers stack in between the front seat rail and your carpet. Move to step Four.
- Step Four: If using one or two Seat Spacers, use the provided 40mm hex head bolt. If using all three Seat Spacers, use the provided 60mm hex head bolt. Take the correct hex head bolt and thread it through the seat rail, through the Seat Spacers, and into the floor of the vehicle.
*IMPORTANT – IF THE SEAT RAIL HOLE DOES NOT LINE UP, LIFT UP THE SEAT RAIL .25 INCHES AND THREAD IN THE BOLT A COUPLE OF THREADS. IF NEEDED ADJUST THE SEAT RAILS ONE AT A TIME TO GET EVERYTHING TO LINE UP AND CONFIRM REAR SEAT BOLTS ARE LOOSE ENOUGH. - Step Five: Torque two front bolts and two rear bolts to 27ft-lbs.
Step Six: Reinstall any plastic trim pieces that were removed in Step One.
