- Lifelike Hand - IV practice hand model is made of silicone and is based on the left hand of an adult male. Model retains the most realistic texture of a human hand. The solid fingers are soft and elastic to the touch. In order to reduce the psychological challenges that practitioners face working with people, our model hands closely simulate the real thing.
- Anatomically Correct Veins - Latex-free silicone tubing simulates the basilic vein, cephalic vein and dorsal metacarpal veins to facilitate accurate venipuncture practice. You can feel the presence of veins by palpation. People with latex allergies can use it with confidence.
- Flashback Effect - We designed a stand to help create a closed vein environment for the hand model. When your needle is properly inserted into the vein, there is enough pressure to flash back. This helps verify that the needle is properly placed in the vein.
