Natural Shilajit Mumio with Ashwagandha additive (Withania somnifera, Indian Ginseng) What is it and how is it created? Shilajit, also known as Mumio, is a mineral-organic substance with a dark colour and a thick, tar-like consistency. It can be found in high mountain regions such as the Himalayas (India, Nepal, Tibet), the Pamir Mountains (Tadjikistan, Afghanistan), the Altai Mountains (Russia), the Caucasus and in the South American Andes. In the high mountains (3000 - 5000 m above sea level), it appears as a covering on rocks and in crevices. Under the action of intense solar radiation, it liquefies and flows into deeper mountain regions. Shilajit has been known for its health applications for 5000 years. The first mentions were found in ancient Ayurvedic writings. It has been considered an elixir of longevity and called the conqueror of weakness. Our Shilajit is a 100% original product. It is sourced directly from the producers, which means you always have the guarantee of receiving a product directly from the original source. Production process: The production process of Shilajit starts with the preparation of the raw material, which contains about 30-40% pure mumio, mixed with sand, stones, soil and grass. This raw material goes through 3-4 cleaning stages to separate Mumio from impurities. Then Shilajit is heated in a 200 litre boiler filled with 70-100 litres of water and mixed for several hours. As a result, sand, stones and other impurities settle at the bottom of the vessel. The next step is to transfer the contents to another kettle with water, which allows smaller particles to settle at the bottom. After this procedure, the cleaned Mumio is transferred to another container with a closed lid, where the process of moisture removal takes about three hours. Finally, the finished product is filled in bags with a capacity of 5-20 litres and a thickness of 100-200 microns previously coated with vegetable oil to prevent Mumio from sticking and make separating easier. The whole process is carried out traditionally and artisanal by mountain families who have specialised in the production of shilajit for generations. Each manufacturer has its unique methods and nuances that are rarely shared outside the narrow circle of craftsmen. Ashwagandha (Indian Ginseng) Ashwagandha, also known as Withania somnifera or Indian ginseng, is a plant native to South Asia commonly used as a component of dietary supplements. In our factory in Sopot, we use one of the strongest extracts of ashwagandha available on the market and add it to the shilajit. The unique combination of these ingredients ensures the exceptional quality of this product. The fluidity of shilajit depends on the temperature. Especially in winter, it should be remembered that Shilajit can be conveniently dosed at a temperature of 20-25°C. Shilajit should be stored in a dry, dark place. The product should also be kept out of the reach of small children. Recommended daily dose: 2 x 1 spatulas 0.2 g = 0.4 g. Application: Measure 0.2 g of the product according to the mark on the spatula and dissolve it in a warm but not boiling drink (water, tea, coffee, etc.). Take twice a day, 30 minutes before a meal. After 4 weeks of use, a one-week break is recommended. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. This dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Contraindications: The product should not be used by children, pregnant women and lactating women. People with hypertension should avoid excessive consumption due to the presence of licorice.
