- About the Product: The product is a live starter sized plant intended for a gardener to plant and grow on to its finished mature size. Plants have an approximate 4 inch diameter root zone and will be a minimum of 6 to 8 inches tall. They will not have blooms or buds on arrival. - Plant Info: Strawberries and Cream is a hybrid fancy type of hibiscus. Although its flowers are not extremely large or fancy, it has some other interesting and unique characteristics. It grows significantly slower, has a smaller mature size and blooms well in light alll day shade.
- Flower: The name Strawberries and Cream describes the color of this exotic fancy tropical hibiscus plant well. The moderately large single flowers average about 3 to 3 1/2 inches in diameter and have a strawberry red center surrounded by 5 large creamy white classic hibiscus petals. The buds open slowly over several days and last for a day or two. The petals recurve back slightly as the bloom matures to show off the long pink stamens tipped with red and dotted with yellow pollen.
- Growth Habit: This plant has a naturally dense, tight, branching, and slightly weeping growth habit. The slender branches are cloaked with very dark green, glossy, pointed, oval, highly serrated leaves. It performs well as a potted plant or hanging basket as it can thrive and bloom in lightly dappled shade.

Strawberries and Cream is a hybrid, fancy type and falls in about the middle of this range. It is moderately easy to grow with minimal special needs.
