You may also order multiples if you're looking to pin multiple locks to use the same key. Please ensure the cylinder is the correct one for your lock before ordering.
3. Code cutting (2 keys): Keys will be cut to the bitting you specify. You can find the bitting of a key by the following ways:
a. If the bitting is marked on the keys, it will be a 5 digit number for SC1, 6 digits for SC4. Note, numbers on the key don't necessarily represent the bitting. You can verify the validity by looking at the key from bow to tip.
For example, if the marked code is 643328, the first cut will be deeper than the second cut. The third cut will slightly shallower than the second cut, and the forth cut will be the same depth as the third cut and so forth.
b. By measuring the depth of each cut read from bow to tip (left to right on the diagram in the pics). See pic with Mitutoyo caliper. You would need to measure each cut with the caliper and read the Schlage key diagram for the correct depth number. The Mitutoyo caliper in the pic reads "0.3205in". The corresponding depth number will be "1" as found in the root depth table.
Note: If you're measuring a key cut with a key duplicator, there will be a larger variance in the measured depth than the factory original key, or a proper code cutter like the Pro-Lok blue punch.
By default, the bitting will be engraved onto the key unless otherwise specified. Other designs and layouts available at no additional charge. See pics.
Note: Cut keys will be cut on a Pro-Lok Blue Punch. The blanks used are original Schlage. They are made from a nickel silver alloy which is considerably more expensive than aftermarket blanks made of brass or nickel plated brass.

Tracking & Notifications
Every order is fully trackable. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. If your order ships in multiple packages, each package will have its own tracking number. If you don’t receive a shipping confirmation immediately, your order is still being processed and will arrive within the estimated timeframe shown at checkout.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Order Cancellation Policy
Customers may request to cancel an order before it has been shipped.
Once the package has been shipped, cancellations are no longer possible; however, you may still request a return after receiving your order.

How to Return an Item

If a return is sent back without prior contact or without our provided label, we cannot be held responsible for return shipping costs.

Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected:
- In-store returns are refunded to the original form of payment or issued as a gift card.
- Mail-in returns using our prepaid label are refunded to the original payment method within 3–5 business days after we receive your return.
