The Pi4B is an excellent emulation machine which handles every title in the library very well without any issues, N64 is one particular system that tends to emulate somewhat poorly but the majority will be playable, not all titles will play at 100% performance.
Very few newer titles may have some frame rate drops but are playable without any major issues.
The majority of the titles are already programmed to run smoothly with the proper emulator optimized.
Many features are available such as game saves and game loading presets which are included as a printout to you which aid in the usage of this console.
