Why CMC framework is made

CMC is what lies between the cortexes. The cortex is made of keratin, and if the keratin skeleton is weak, the CMC skeleton will also be weak.
So, the first thing we do is repair the keratin structure.
- Liquid crystal cholesterol and five types of ceramides*4
The key to the CMC skeleton is the lamellar structure, and liquid crystal cholesterol is important for neatly arranging this lamellar structure.
Since it has a liquid crystal structure from the beginning, it is easier to form a lamellar structure.
Cholesterol also plays a role in adhering the lamellar structure, thereby maintaining the CMC skeleton.

The hair skeleton consists of a keratin skeleton and a CMC skeleton.
The keratin skeleton is the main skeleton formed by keratin, the main component of hair, and hair is formed when keratin molecules are connected to each other by strong bonds called disulfide bonds (SS bonds).
The CMC skeleton exists between keratin skeletons and supports the keratin skeletons by bonding them together.
This is also called a lamellar structure, and is formed by regular arrangement of CMC components such as ceramide, cholesterol, and 18-MEA.
As we age, the keratin and CMC levels decrease, causing our hair to thin.
This is the hallmark of aging hair.
While healthy hair can tolerate coloring and perms, they are harsh on aging hair.
The more the keratin and CMC skeletons break down, the greater the damage, causing hair to become dry and brittle.
