Triphala in Sanskrit means " three fruits " ("tri" = three and "phala" = fruits ) and is a traditional Ayurvedic preparation based on three fruits: amla, baheda and haritaki. According to Ayurveda, Triphala is a "Tridosha Rasayana", an active substance that balances the three doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha). Rasayana means all substances that rebalance the body thus ensuring its longevity.
Triphala is rich in antioxidants and polyphenols. This active complex also has a strengthening, toning and astringent effect. The triphala range by Rasayana offers hair care products by combining the "triphala" complex with selected actives to strengthen, reboost and add volume to the hair. The range has been specially formulated for fine and brittle hair, as well as hair loss, but can be used for all types of hair.
Active Ingredients:
- Amla (Amalaki) - Phyllanthus Emblica: Vitamin C, tannins, flavonoids
- Baheda (Bibhitaki) - Terminalia Belliric: 40% protein, 35% oils, including omega-3 and 6 fatty acids, tannins, vitamin C.
- Haritaki - Terminalia Chebula: 30-40% tannins, flavonoids, saponins, amino acids, beta-sitosterol
