- Product Description: Shea butter is a natural oil extracted from seeds of shea wood that live in Central Africa. The ingredients are mainly stearic acid, oleic acid, and contain fatty acids such as linolic acid and palthymic acid. These ingredients are similar to human sebum, so they are familiar with the skin and provide a firm moisturization. It melts at about 36 degrees Celsius close to the body temperature of a person, so you can warm it in the palm of your hand
