This is a stamped anodized aluminum bilge pump switch. Two means of alarm (visual and sound) are activated when water level in your bilge is beyond your Bilge pump float switch level.

A float switch should be mounted approximately 8 inches above the existing float switch that operates that bilge pump. A two strand electrical cable should be then ran from the second float switch to the location on the Bilge Water Alarm Panel. See picture 5.
