How to Take Care of your Steak Knives

Washing
Remember to wash your steak knife after use.
If washing by hand then always remember to keep the sharp edge of the blade away from you.
Use a sponge or dishcloth to clean the blade on both sideswiping in a direction away from you so you don’t cut yourself. Lay the knife flat on the countertop and safely wipe each side individually.
High-quality blades shouldn’t really be put into the dishwasher as the detergents can over time affect the quality of the blade.
