Adults: Take 1 capsule daily with food or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
Duration of use: Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.
Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, starch, or sugar.
Cautions and warnings
Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you have any type of acute infection; if you are taking medications for diabetes, high blood pressure, or seizures; if you have a liver disorder; if you have a heart, vessel, or blood-pressure condition; if you are taking sedative drugs; or if you are taking acetylcholinesterase inhibitors. Discontinue use and consult a health- care practitioner if you experience dizziness; weakness; muscle cramping; heart palpitations; hypertension; increased sweating; blurry vision; and/or gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea or excessive salivation. Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen, or if new symptoms develop. Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are taking prescription medications.
Contraindications
Do not use if you have high blood pressure or if you are taking health products that affect blood coagulation (e.g. blood thinners, clotting factor replacements, acetylsalicylic acid, ibuprofen, fish oils, vitamin E), as this may increase the risk of spontaneous bleeding. Do not use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner if yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes, dark urine, nausea, vomiting, unusual tiredness, weakness, stomach or abdominal pain, and/or loss of appetite occurs as these may be symptoms of liver disease.
