Three ways to replace your Apple TV.
1) If you own an original remote control: With the original remote control, follow the following steps: Access the main menu of your Apple TV. Select Configuration > General > Remotes, then select Apple Remote.
Pairing Once you have successfully connected a device, you should see a broken chain link icon above the icon of an unRa remote control on your Apple TV.
2) If you use the original remote: Use the remote app to disconnect your Apple TV and follow the following steps: prepare an iOS device, install the free remote app on an iOS device from the App Store. Press the Teen Apple TV button to connect it to your Apple TV. Ote. (See 1)
Please note that your Apple TV and iOS device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network and run the latest version of your respective software.
Also check if you are capable of sharing iTunes at home. Otherwise, follow the steps below: Open iTunes on your computer and select File. SHARE AT HOME - Activate at home.
3) Control your TV with a computer and control your device with one device.
@ Disconnect the HDMI cable and power cable from your Apple TV.
Open iTunes on your computer. Make sure you have the latest version.
③ On the back of your Apple TV (4th generation) connect a USB-C cable. For Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation), use a micro USB cable. Use the right cable for your model and never connect a Lightning to USB cable to your Apple TV.
Connect the other end of your USB-C or Micro USB cable into a USB port on your computer, D for Apple TV (3rd or 4th generation), plug in the power cable. For Apple TV (2nd generation), do not let it plug in.
