Children can practice proper letter formation and develop their writing skills with this set of hands-on, natural, solid wood movable alphabet. Younger children can simply use a finger to begin learning how to trace the letters, while older children who are ready for writing can use the included wooden stylus to develop the hand and finger strength required for a proper pencil grip.
The Montessori approach recognizes that a child’s potential for learning is greatest when provided with tactile, multisensory tools. Movable alphabet capitalizes on this concept by helping a child to develop visual memory while also training the muscles of the hand, until proper letter formation is mastered.
Included are 26 double-sided tiles featuring a capital letter on one side and the corresponding lowercase letter on the other side. A wooden storage box is included for organizing and storing the tiles.
