The electrical insulation and corona resistance of butyl rubber is better than that of general synthetic rubber, the volume resistivity is 10-100 times higher than that of general rubber, the dielectric constant of (1kHz) is 2-3 power factor (100Hz) is 0.0026.

The high saturation structure of butyl rubber makes it have high chemical stability.Butyl rubber is particularly resistant to animal and vegetable oils.Butyl rubber has good corrosion resistance to most inorganic and organic acids

Although there are more methyl groups in the molecular chain of butyl rubber, each pair of methyl groups distributed on both sides of the spiral is staggered by an Angle, so the butyl rubber molecular chain is still quite smooth. The glass transition temperature is lower and the elasticity is better.

Installation Tips:
1. Decide what part of the car you want to insulate first.
2. Remove the remains of the factory insulation once you have dismantled the interior.Properly clean and degrease the surface prior to installation of deadener.
3. Measure the pre-cleaned surface of the prospective spot that you are going to treat.
4. Try to locate the piece of material onto the prospective surface of a car without removing an adhesive paper.
5. When your sheet is ready to used, lay that down to the surface.
6. Flatten the sheet with hands to avoid air bubbles between the metal and insulation material.
7. Or use a roller for rolling down the foil as a neat step.

Item Not Received
If your tracking number shows “Delivered” but you haven’t received your package:

Damaged or Lost Parcels
If your package arrives damaged or fails to arrive, please contact us immediately. For deliveries to P.O. boxes, ibspot is not responsible for damage caused by weather, temperature, or theft.

If a return is sent back without prior contact or without our provided label, we cannot be held responsible for return shipping costs.
For items valued over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item if shipped independently.
Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected:

In-store returns are refunded to the original form of payment or issued as a gift card.

Mail-in returns using our prepaid label are refunded to the original payment method within 3–5 business days after we receive your return.
Please allow:

5–7 business days for the return to reach our Returns Center.

An additional 3–10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account.
