- This module can use the built-in 78M05 to drive the power supply to work, but in order to avoid damage to the voltage regulator chip, when using a drive voltage greater than 12V, please use an external 5V logic power supply.
- This module uses L298N as the main driver chip, which has the characteristics of strong driving ability, low heat generation and strong anti-interference ability.
- This module uses large-capacity filter capacitors and freewheeling protection diodes to improve reliability
- When your driving voltage (marked as 12V input in the above figure, the actual acceptable input range is 7-12V) is 7V -12V, you can enable the onboard 5V logic power supply. After using the onboard 5V power supply, the +5V power supply in the interface does not need to input voltage, but can lead out 5V voltage for external use. (This is a normal application!)
- When the driving voltage is higher than 12V and less than or equal to 24V, for example, to drive a motor with a rated voltage of 18V. First, you must remove the jumper cap of the onboard 5V output enable. Then connect 5V to the 5V output port. 5V enable is a control signal with a level of 5V. When this signal input is valid and the power supply in the motor drive module is normal, the motor drive module outputs current. Otherwise, even if the power supply is normal, there is no current on the motor. The voltage supplies power to the internal logic circuit of L298N.

When the maximum voltage is applied to the maximum voltage of 298 conservative applications to 24V, for example, the motor with a rated voltage of 18V shall be driven.
You must first remove the board 5V output to enable the jumper cap. Then 5V is accessed outside the 5V output port
The 5V enables the power to be a control signal with a level of 5V. When the signal input is valid, and when the power supply is normal in the motor drive module, the motor drive module outputs the current. Otherwise, even if the power supply is normal, there is no current on the motor.
