Goat Milk soap base combines the wonderfully creamy & restorative qualities of pure, natural goat milk with the cleansing and moisturizing benefits of Stephenson’s soap base to create a masterpiece of melt & pour soap. The milky color of this soap base is all natural - created by the addition of pure goat’s milk – no artificial colors have been added. Goat’s milk is prized for its remarkable skin care properties. Goat’s Milk is chock full of Vitamin A and Vitamin D which helps soften skin. This creates a magnificently creamy, soothing lather which helps make your skin soft and moisturized. Melt & pour soap bases are an ideal way to hand craft your own soap without the extra time, expense and experience needed to make soap "from scratch." Usage: A two-pound brick can make between 10 - 20 soaps, depending on the size of the soap you’re trying to make. Directions: Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into small pieces and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low at 30 second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler. Stir in cosmetic color, cosmetic scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a mold. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard. Remove from mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use.
