The INTERTOOL 25 Foot Professional Hybrid Rubber & PVC Air Hose PT08-1781 is an indispensable accessory for any workplace that utilizes air compressors and pneumatic tools that require less air flow rate up to 20 CFM. Such tools include LVLP and HVLP spray guns, blow guns, staplers, nailers, riveters, inflating guns, caulking guns, grease guns, grinders, sanders, anti-corrosion guns, air screwdrivers, air ratchet wrenches, impact wrenches, hopper guns, sandblasters, air hammers, shear scissors, and equipment with large pneumatic cylinders. This hose is made from a combination of both rubber and PVC giving you the benefits of both materials. Rubber gives the hose flexibility, resistance against varying extreme temperatures, remains flat on the ground, and makes it easy to roll up and store away. On the other hand, PVC keeps the hose lightweight, oil-resistant, and wear-resistant. Combining these two materials also makes the hose more durable, resistant to kinks, and protects against UV radiation damage. A 360 degree swivel joint on one end of the hose allows for even further manipulation taking the stress off of the user’s wrists all while keeping an uninterrupted air flow from compressor to tool. At each end of the hose there are multifunctional 1/4" standard threads that can be used on their own or attached to a variety of compatible connectors. Either end is compatible with both male and female couplers. The connectors included with the hose are lightly screwed on for ease of use out of the box. Users are advised to use thread seal tape, also known as PTFE or Teflon tape, before attaching any connectors to ensure that no air escapes while the hose is in use.
