This ultra low profile aerodynamic solar extraction fan is ultra quiet, and extracts 950 CfH (cubic feet per hour). Helps to ventilate and avoid heat build-up in your shed, greenhouse, loft, boat, RV, caravan, motorhome etc.
When sunlight is up to 40,000 lux, the fan will operate continuously. When sunlight is approx. 8,000 lux in will work intermittently.
Features a large and efficient solar panel that does not need intense direct sunlight to operate. High efficiency long life brushless motor runs in lower and overcast conditions.

This fan requires an 82mm hole, place the vent body into the hole and then tighten inside by hand with the large plastic holding nut. It's that easy.In order to avoid water ingress from rain, add a round soft material (gasket) between the unit and holding plate and/or use a sealant.

When exposed to decent levels of sunlight, the vent will turn on within 20 seconds and start extracting warm air automatically.
When clouds come over on a sunny day, the vent has in built capacitors that will store charge for a short while if it needs to compensate, and will adjust the fan speed to a slower speed if required until full sunlight resumes.
On overcast Spring / Summer days the vent will work intermittently, for example 20 seconds on, 20 seconds on (to charge)
May not work in Winter light due to low lux levels.
