One of the most popular methods in the hair extension market is the Plastic
Tube. We've seen the sale of these tubes keep rising, indicating that people
who switch to using shrinkies are staying that way. We see many of our Keratip
(U-Tip) clients transition to the Plastic Tube since it is easy to convert
used Keratip hair into I-Tips. Once transitioned, hair extension wearers
usually do not want to switch from a glue to a metal, so naturally the Plastic
Tube makes that transition easier and effective.

The Hair Shop Plastic Tube is one of our most popular sellers for a couple of
reasons. I-Tip hair is usually applied and installed using copper or aluminum
tubes. Sometimes this can make a client's hair heavy (especially with over 200
pieces) and also makes it difficult to go through metal detectors at the
airport. Our Plsatic Tube is so lightweight that clients will forget that they
have a full set of hair installed. There is keratin glue that lines the inside
of the walls of these tubes that melts on contact. Our I-Tip hair is also
tipped with keratin glue, allowing both the glue from the Plastic tube and
I-Tip hair to fuse together to make a bond stronger than thought possible. We
recommend the total wear of 8 - 10 weeks depending on how well they are kept
and how well they are installed. After use, throw them away and buy a new
pack! Since the Plastic Tubes are only a fraction of what the copper tubes
usually cost, they are not much of an investment.
