Installing landscape edging is as easy as clearing the area of debris and loose dirt, laying the edging along the desired shape easily cut the recycled plastic coil with garden shears or utility scissors to use in multiple garden beds.
Installation instructions
-Prepare the Area: Clear the area of debris, score the ground, and install the edging in the chosen shape and location with the tabs facing towards the inside of the flower bed.
-Secure the Edging: Hammer anchoring spikes through tabs to secure the edging. Typical installations require one spike every 3–5 tabs.
-Finish the Look: Backfill the top of the edging with soil, pebbles, or your preferred ground cover.
Some useful advice
-Thermal Expansion: Let the edging warm in the sun before installation. This allows it to expand and will enable you to install it tautly, preventing any wavy lines in straight sections.
-Soil Considerations: If your soil is compact, moisten it to facilitate spike insertion. For rocky or hard soil, pre-drilling holes can ease installation. Alternatively, you can opt for specialized metal anchors.
