You can set it over a plate or bowl, too. Rubber Non-Slip Feet. Rubber tips on the feet help stabilize the mandoline while you hold the handle to slice and cut foods with the Safety Pusher on the stainless steel slideway.
When using it, you donβt need to bother changing the blades, just select to either slice or julienne your foods in thin or thick sizes by turning the dial knob to the setting you desire. If you want to wash the chopper slicer, you can open the pannel and rinse in water without touch the blades, which is safe for use.
