Codex DE has no expiration date as it is already the fossilized shell remains of the bottoms of fresh water lake beds thousands of years old.
Local pick-up from our southern California Lake Elsinore location is available for a $20.00 pick-up fee. (Shipping fees will be adjusted when we process your order). We wholesale product to 150+ retail stores and veterinarians around the globe, so we do not sell direct to the general public from our office locations in southern California, as we refer customers to our local retail stores, but since our retail stores do not offer 50 pound bags of DE at our auction price, we will allow local pick-up for this item.

WHAT IS DIATOMACEOUS EARTH?
Diatomaceous earth (DE) is the remains of microscopic one-celled plants (phytoplankton) called diatoms that lived in the oceans and lakes that once covered the western part of the US and other parts of the world. Diatoms (algae) are the grass of the oceans and lakes. Just as grass is the staple food of earth animals, diatoms are the food of the ocean or fresh water grazers. Magnified 7000 times, diatomaceous earth looks like spiny honeycombs. Diatomaceous earth is mined from underwater beds or from ancient dried lake bottoms thousands of years old. This means, diatomaceous earth has an unlimited shelf life provided you keep it dry.
Diatomaceous earth is mined, milled, and processed into a myriad of types for a large variety of uses. Filtering and filler are two main uses but diatomaceous earth also ends up in paints, cosmetics, drugs, etc. Because the milling produces different sized and shaped particles, it is important not to use the filtering type for agricultural purposes.

We can ONLY ship to the address PayPal gives us, so IF you have a different shipping address, please add or change this information with PayPal first, before bidding on our auction. We cannot ship to an address other than the address PayPal gives us.
MOST orders are received within 2 to 5 business days, though occasionally an order can take longer. Extreme weather conditions will affect delivery through all shipping carriers. You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

Shipping Cost

• Returns to a IBSPOT store will be refunded to the original form of payment or gift card. • Mail-in returns with our prepaid return label will be refunded back to the original form of payment within 3-5 business days after we receive your return.
