Let me introduce myself. I have been a practicing Natural Health practitioner in beautiful Central Wisconsin for 15 years and am a herbalist at heart. Evening Primrose (Oenothera biennis) is not a particularly striking plant in appearance, with her small yellow flowers often not being "awake" when folks are normally out and about and unobtrusive leaves and reddish stem.
But for many women this gentle plant is very much in there awareness because of it's ability to provide support when hormonal changes (PMS, menopause, post partum, etc) are taking place, its ability to help relieve pelvic cramping from various issues, and its overall calming effect on the nervous system.
This plant is also a gentle and safe calmative for children when anxiety and stress are overwhelming for them.
Because of this species more bitter component it is a nice plant to help with a variety of digestive issues whether the system is over or under active.
For coughs when mixed with Mullein or Rabbit Tobacco is a nice remedy for dry cough, due to it's moistening and antispasmodic qualities, one of the few plants we can go to to moisten the lungs.
The uses for this plant are far to many to cover in a short introduction, so I hope you take sometime to do more research on all this lovely plant and learn all it has to offer.
This is an alcohol tincture.
Dosage: 5-40 drops up to four times daily. Listen to your body and adjust your dose from there. Some folks may take a bit longer to feel the effect if using for anxiety, so give yourself a bottle before giving up on this wonderful plant.

I am not accepting returns because of the resale safety issue of
the products. Even though the bottle caps may be sealed, the stoppers bulbs are
soft rubber thus not tamper proof; and oils and ointments are not sealed. Returns
would have to be disposed of and that would be wasteful and not respectful of
the plants medicine. Thanks everyone.
