The Quick Start Assistant with Project Advisor walks you through the design process step by step. Begin by choosing a house style and a floor plan. Pick a predesigned floor plan or use the Scan and Trace Function to scan in an existing layout or blueprint of your own. The Ready Room function allows for quick creation of many layouts, and Ready Roofs allows you to select from a variety of roof styles. The Cost and Materials Manager will help you to print out a list of materials so you can estimate building costs. Outside design is also possible: drag and drop trees, flowers, bushes, or add a deck. You can also publish your new design in 3-D on the Internet for friends to see.
