- Excellent quality – the machine-woven slings from Dacony impress with their robustness. They do not wear out or sag, retain their shape and thus provide the perfect support for the child from birth to toddler. Dacony cloths hold when tying and do not slip. For easy binding, the cloths are equipped with a central mark, have bevelled corners and the outer and inner edges are designed in different colours.
- Material and care: consists of first-class, pure cotton (100%), durable diamond binding with double warp and weft thread, high surface weight of 220 g/m², certified, suitable for use from birth. We recommend machine washing at 40°C, preferably iron slightly with a damp cloth. The shrinkage during the first wash is approx. 5%.
- What size: the length of the sling should be selected according to the clothing size of the wearer, when using rings, a shorter cloth is sufficient. Keep in mind that your child grows and accordingly the fabric consumption when tying increases. Dacony woven slings are available in three sizes: "S" (14 ft) - Short - Suitable for smaller and more petite people, "M" (16 ft) - Medium - Suitable for medium people, "L" (5.2 m) - Long - Suitable for taller and stronger people.
- Why a woven sling – a solid cloth is tightly woven in the longitudinal and transverse directions, but offers a slight stretch in the diagonal. These features ensure that the cloth wraps the baby well, is comfortable, easy to tie, remains dimensionally stable and remains preserved throughout the wearing time, from birth to toddlers. In contrast, an elastic cloth is made of knitted fabric, under greater weight it sags and is therefore only suitable for babies up to 8 kg.
