PILE CRUSH & SPROUTING
Sprouting is normal and will not be considered as defect since some loops, over time, may come loose and cutting the loop level with the surface of the pile fixes the issue easily.
Normal traffic causes the pile of carpet to flatten slightly, resulting in a shaded effect, especially in plush carpet. Vacuuming the pile in the same direction can temporarily correct this situation.
Pile crush occurs when furniture or any heavy object on a runner rug for an extended period. In majority of the cases, pile crush can be fixed by rubbing the area with a hand brush or moistening the area with a steamer
