This listing includes live "green velvet", or "fire moss" cushions - Ceratodon purpureus species, cushions / pillows / buns.
Unique and uncommon luminous fine moss. Tolerates dryness and part to full sun, as long as it receives some moisture, but does best in part sun with fluctuating moisture, or in terrarium setting with bright light. It is okay to let this moss dry out, it will rehydrate. It prefers to be in a setting in which it is not waterlogged, where water can freely drain away. A light mist is plenty typically.
Cushions take a long process to establish, but once colonized into a clump, it it will regenerate it self at that size and continue to grow larger. Clumps may be perfectly round, oblong or heart shaped with curving edges.

We are growing more moss than ever and have curated several mediums for our moss to grow in, and use moss in our landscaping. All of our mosses are organic and intentionally cultivated as to not take without replenishing the environment and optimizing more moss growth, providing humidity and stable growing conditions.
