First Day of Harvest oils are an intense green color, indicative of the concentration of chlorophyll and polyphenols and robust flavors. Harvesting the olives while they are still green, at the very beginning of their ripeness results in higher concentrations of nutrients and flavors. The longer olives stay on the tree, the more oil it will produce, but the more its nutrients and flavors will diminish. These oils are not only early harvest, they are only made with olives collected at the very onset of harvest. Picked within the first few days of harvest and cold-pressed into a bright, fruity and fresh oil, the First Day of Harvest oils are the very highest quality oil produced, and in limited quantities, and brings the early harvest concept to full flavor extremes. The 2022 Picua Harvest - Is a well-balanced oil with intense green notes of green grass, green almond, green banana, artichoke, and green tomato, and it finishes with aromatic mint. Since 1780, the Castillo de Canena estate has been producing exceptional oils in the Guadalquivir Valley of Andalusia in the south of Spain. To obtain these prized extra-virgin olive oils, Castillo de Canena works with precision agriculture. Using cutting-edge technology, the company can scientifically supervise the physiological situation of its olive trees in real-time and respond to their needs throughout the seasons. Precision agriculture also permits the company to determine the exact day upon which to begin the harvest of each varietal, not a minute too late or too soon for optimal ripeness.

Tracking & Notifications

Every order is fully trackable. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. If your order ships in multiple packages, each package will have its own tracking number. If you don’t receive a shipping confirmation immediately, your order is still being processed and will arrive within the estimated timeframe shown at checkout.

Order Changes & Cancellations

If you need to modify or cancel an order, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible. Orders can only be canceled before they ship. Once shipped, cancellations are not possible, but you may request a return after the item is delivered.

  • In-store returns are refunded to the original form of payment or issued as a gift card.

  • An additional 3–10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account.
