The tray allows the battery to slide in under the back "slide clip". It's perfect for conditions where you cannot reach or access behind the battery is limited.
The battery tray is designed according to the shape and contour for the Optima battery to prevent slipping.
Two bolts on each fixing hold-down tabs are used to firmly fix the battery to the tray.
The hold down tabs are used to be fixed along the entire flat area for the Optima battery near the clip for maximum fixing force.
Each bolt sits slightly lower than the surface, giving a professional and smooth appearance after installation.
