Our steel C-channel is a high-quality, made-in-the-USA product that is perfect for woodworking and adding durability and structure to your custom table builds. Laser-cut steel is CNC formed and sandblasted for a smooth finish; it is then powder coated in a black wrinkle color that is rated for indoor and outdoor use. This C-channel is made of exceptionally strong and durable 10 GA A36 steel. It is the perfect table stiffener that adds robustness to big tables to keep them flat and level and helps to protect the wood from warping, cupping, buckling, and bowing. Note that C channel helps to prevent these problems, and does not make up for improperly dried wood or other issues. Many expert woodworkers use our C-channel steel for its ability to provide rigidity and support for wood and live edge tables. The slotted hardware holes allow the tabletop to have some cyclic movement for it to contract and expand throughout the seasons while still keeping it level. Overall, C-channel is an essential item for any woodworker looking to create long-lasting and stable wood or live edge tables.
