Do I need the Autel programming tool to successfully program the sensor?
Yes. For programming the universal sensors with vehicle-specific data and a cloned or newly created sensor ID, a programming tool is mandatory. If you want to program Autel MX sensors, you may need Autel TS501: B06XXCB7JG/ Autel TS508: B088KGKNTJ/ Autel MX808S-TS: B09QX1BVMR / Autel DS808S-TS: B0BTBW7JN9 / Autel MK906S Pro-TS: B0BGGQ. 5YQ8 / Autel MS906TS etc.
Upgrade instructions:
After 2024, the Autel Sensor has no rubber seal. You can disassemble and assemble directly from the nut, which saves installation time (the nut does not need to be unscrewed when disassembling the nut), which makes installation easier. You don't have to worry about the gasket being installed in the wrong position (formerly, some customers installed the gasket in the rim, which has caused anomalies such as air leakage, or the gasket was not installed if it is not installed or cannot be removed.)
