What is a fedora? Fedoras are a type of hat, with a soft brim and indented crown. The wide brim sets fedoras a part from all other caps in style and comfort. When do you wear a fedora? Answer is simple - always. Fedoras are typically worn with dress clothes or a suit, as it is generally considered a dress hat, but today many folks wear them with jeans or other casual clothing. The timeless style can work well with just about anything. Depending on the specific type of material of the hat, it can be both a casual or formal hat, part of your most dressy or most comfortable attire. Quick history lesson, the term fedora originates all the way back to 1891. The word fedora comes from the title of an 1882 play by dramatist Victorien Sardou, Fédora, which was written for Sarah Bernhardt. The play was first performed in the United States in 1889. Bernhardt played Princess Fédora Romazov, the heroine of the play. During the play, Bernhardt – a noted cross-dresser – wore a center-creased, soft brimmed hat. Since the roaring 1920s into the 1950s, fedoras have been a major quintessential fashion staple for men (and women) all over the world. At Ascentix, we take our hats seriously. Tracking & Notifications

Every order is fully trackable. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. If your order ships in multiple packages, each package will have its own tracking number. If you don’t receive a shipping confirmation immediately, your order is still being processed and will arrive within the estimated timeframe shown at checkout.

Order Changes & Cancellations

If you need to modify or cancel an order, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible. Orders can only be canceled before they ship. Once shipped, cancellations are not possible, but you may request a return after the item is delivered.

Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • In-store returns are refunded to the original form of payment or issued as a gift card.

  • Mail-in returns using our prepaid label are refunded to the original payment method within 3–5 business days after we receive your return.

Please allow:

  • 5–7 business days for the return to reach our Returns Center.

  • An additional 3–10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account.
