- Extremely enlarged recordings: With a retro adapter, extremely enlarged close-up shots can be realized on any DSLR. All at a fraction of the acquisition cost of conventional macro lenses. The adapter not only impresses with its imaging performance, but fits in any bag as a lightweight and can therefore replace a conventional macro lens in many cases.
- Top image quality: the image performance of the lenses in retro position can easily compete with good macro lenses or even exceed them. This may be less surprising when you realize that the reverse position only uses the inner image circle of the lenses. This has considerably fewer problems with blur or light drop, as is the case for the edge areas of lenses in normal position, especially for the open aperture.
- Manual operation: the sharpness must be adjusted by hand on the lens. The same applies to the aperture if possible. There are two options for exposure time: In M mode, you can set the exposure time yourself. This is usually done via a dial on the camera. In automatic time mode, the camera calculates the appropriate exposure time. All you have to do is press the trigger.
