The kit contains a vintage style cocktail shaker cup known as a cobbler with the classically designed lid and integral ice-strainer for easy pouring. The cup capacity is 400ml (14 fl oz), ideal for at-home cocktail making. The beauty of a cobbler shaker compared to other shaker styles aside from the built-in strainer is that they tend not to leak during the shaking motion... other shakers can be a bit risky to shake, especially if you've been sampling a few of the cocktails yourself!! It's simple to use and isn't intimidating.
Unlike most others, This Taylors Eye Witness cocktail-making set is made from high quality food-grade stainless steel. p>You'll be pleased to know that each piece in this set is also easy-clean and dishwasher safe, giving you extra time to party instead of clearing up!
This kit was designed to appeal to those that appreciate the traditional style of cocktail-making apparatus. It features a traditional Hawthorne style strainer with 2 ears to enable the cocktologist (there's a new word for you) to rest it on the side of the shaker cup with the coil sat snuggly on the inside. The coils come almost full-circle, which is best to prevent pieces of fruit, leaves or ice from entering the drink. But the rings are wide enough apart to remove debris easily. There is a raised notch on the upper side to assist in pushing down to ensure that the coil is pushed against the side of the shaker, allowing you to keep the strainer in place as you pour.
The classic double jigger is a 2-in-1 tool for taking exact measurements of spirits to make the finest cocktails in the land.
The bar spoon is the only item that has a modern twist, doubling up as a drinking straw too!
