Description
Hot tubs, spas and swimming pool's water quality all decrease with time and use. To keep them clean, clear and safe, chemicals should be added to restore the water back to its original quality. This 100 strip pack of water quality test strips allows you to check 5 essential quality characteristics of your water to allow you to keep your hot tub, spa or pool in tip top condition.

▶Total alkalinity makes it easier to control the water pH and should be addressed first before tackling incorrect pH.

▶Incorrect pH can cause cloudy water and pH that's too high or too low can cause damage to your hot tub or spa through scale deposits!

▶Chlorine/bromine sanitises and keeps the water safe by killing bacteria/ viruses and fungi.

▶Incorrect levels of Total Water Hardness can lead to scaling/corrosion or a slimy feel/cloudy look to the water and in extreme cases can eat away at your liner, pipes and other components.

▶Cyanuric acid prevents solar degradation of your sanitising chemical (chlorine or bromine) and allows it to keep your hot tub or spa safer for longer, think of it as sun cream for your hot tub!

How to use:

① Ensure your water is sufficiently agitated (turn on the heater for example).

② Carefully remove a test strip from the bottle, ensuring you do not touch the reaction pads and close the bottle tightly afterwards, to prevent the other test strips becoming contaminated

③ Fully submerge the pool test strip in the water for 2s.

④ Take it out and hold horizontally for 15 seconds.

⑤ Compare pool test strip to colour chart on bottle, for best results read within 30 seconds and in natural daylight.
