- EINSATZGEBIETE: Schraubverbinder (auch Schraubkarabiner) stellen eine äußerst sichere und zuverlässige Art der Verbindung von Ketten und Drahtseilen dar. Schwere Dinge, z.B. aus der Veranstaltungsindustrie, können mit einem Schnellverbinder sicher aufgehangen werden. Der Schnellverschluss ist auch im privaten Umfeld ein treuer Helfer, wenn es darum geht schwere Dinge verlässlich an einem Balken/Ast zu befestigen.
- Funktion: Ein Rapid-Glied (auch Quick Links) wird stets manuell durch das Aufdrehen der Schraubhülse gesichert. Dadurch wird ein ungewolltes öffnen der Kettenverbinder verhindert. Durch die enorm hohe Bruchlast, ist es möglich, dass auch schwerere Dinge mit einem Notglied befestigt/verbunden werden können, ohne dass sich der Kettenschnellverschluss verbiegt und die Schraubhülse sich nicht mehr bedienen lässt.
- BESONDERHEITEN: Auf Grund ihrer Form, wird ein Kettenschnellverschluss auch als Schraubnotglied bezeichnet. Die Kettenglied Karabiner bestehen aus dem bewerten, in Industriequalität hergestellten V4A Werkstoff. Der V4A-Stahl ist rostfrei, säurebeständig und leicht zu reinigen. Kettennotglieder können problemlos bei der Boots- und Schifffahrt, im Süß- und im Salzwasser verwendet werden. Auch unter widrigsten Umweltbedingungen ist auf einen Schraubverbinder verlass.
- BEISPIEL-ANWENDUNGEN: Der Schnellverschlusskarabiner ist ideal dazu geeignet Ketten miteinander zu verbinden, schwere Gegenstände (z.B. Equipment aus der Veranstaltungstechnik) sicher aufzuhängen. Schraubverbinder (Schraubkarabiner, Kettenverbinder) dienen vor allem der Aufnahme von Zugkraeften beim uebergang von Seilen, Drahtseilen oder
Ketten auf feste Bauteile. Auch werden sie regelmaeßig als Notglieder 8Rapid-Glied) fuer das Verbinden von Kettengliedern verwendet. Die
Verwendung eines Schraubverbinders erlaubt das leichtere Auswechseln einer beschaedigten Edelstahlkette
oder eines Drahtseils. Durch die gebogene Form ist die Verbindung beweglicher. Schraubverbinder sind oft

Diese Schraubverbinder sind nicht fuer Hebezwecke als Teil von Hebezeugen oder Lastaufnahmemittel
entwickelt und hergestellt worden. Deshalb ist eine Verwendung als Hebezeug, Anschlagmittel
oder Lastaufnahmemittel, insbesondere im Anwendungsbereich der Maschinenrichtlinien
2006/42/EG, nicht zulaessig. Fuer die Berechnung der Arbeitslast, haben sich in der Vergangenheit
ein Sicherheitsfaktor von 3 fuer gelegentliche Beanspruchung bewaehrt. Fuer permanente und
dynamische Belastung wurde mit einem Sicherheitsfaktor von 4 kalkuliert. Angenommen der Schraubverbinder wird regelmaeßig oder dynamisch belastet und besitzt eine
Bruchlast von 2.000 kg. Dann wird die Arbeitslast folgender maßen berechnet:
Arbeitslast = Bruchlast / Sicherheitsfaktor
Arbeitslast = 2.000 kg / 4
Arbeitslast = 500 kg
