How to install:
1. Apply the first clip one base width from the dead end of wire rope. The base or saddle should bear on the live end of the rope -- U-bolt on the short end. Tighten nuts firmly.
2. Attach second clip as close to loop as possible. Tighten nuts but not firmly.
3. Attach balance of clips spaced equally between two clips. Tighten all nuts completely. Apply initial load, inspect nuts and retighten.
Warm Tips:
1.It’s better to tighten the nut with a socket/nut driver. Drills can be used, but be sure not to over-tighten.
2.To ensure secure fixing, it is recommended to use 3 wire rope clamps at each end.
3.Please select the rope with suitable diameter to match with this clips clamp, tight the nuts until 1/4-1/3 of the rope diameter flattened.
4.Be sure to fold back a minimum of 3 inches and 3/4 inches of wire
5.Please do not use plastic coated wire rope.
6.Please do not install saddles on the dead ends of the cable.
7.Please do not reuse the clips.
8.Please inspect all rope clips periodically.
