1. Why should you use minliving compostable mailer?
These zero waste mailers will ensure your customers get a unique shopping experience each time they receive your product knowing that they are reducing carbon footprint. We pride ourselves on the fact that even though our mailers are compostable, they are just as tough as plastic polymailers.

2. What are they made from?
Combination of PBAT and modified corn starch

3. Are they waterproof?
Yes, all mailers are durable and waterproof for shipping under all climates. However, in order to be home-compostable certified, they can’t be made as thick as some plastic ones, so if your products have sharp edges that could potentially damage the bags, it’d best to start with the smallest pack size to see if they are a good fit.

4. How do we compost or get rid of them?
To compost at home, remove shipping labels, cut them up and place them in your compost bin. They will completely break down within 120 days.
They will still break down in landfills but it would take 2 years instead. (Plastic mailers take 400 years or more!)

5. How long can we keep them for?
These are designed to break down within a reasonable time. (Shelf life: 9-12 months when kept in cool and dry conditions, out of direct sunlight.) This should be considered when doing bulk order, we recommend getting quantity sufficient for 3-6 months of shipments.

Tracking & Notifications

Every order is fully trackable. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. If your order ships in multiple packages, each package will have its own tracking number. If you don’t receive a shipping confirmation immediately, your order is still being processed and will arrive within the estimated timeframe shown at checkout.

Order Changes & Cancellations

If you need to modify or cancel an order, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible. Orders can only be canceled before they ship. Once shipped, cancellations are not possible, but you may request a return after the item is delivered.

If a return is sent back without prior contact or without our provided label, we cannot be held responsible for return shipping costs.

For items valued over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item if shipped independently.


Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • In-store returns are refunded to the original form of payment or issued as a gift card.

  • Mail-in returns using our prepaid label are refunded to the original payment method within 3–5 business days after we receive your return.

Please allow:

  • 5–7 business days for the return to reach our Returns Center.

  • An additional 3–10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account.
