If the probe tip connects to the positive terminal, the RED LED lights on with beep sounds; If the probe tip connects to the negative terminal, the Green LED lights on with a low tone. Neither LED Lights up when it is an open circuit. You can also use this circuit tester to locate short circuits in your car if you keep getting blown fuses.
