I use this glove while working on assembly line. Works great for cushioning and protecting from minor scratches. Too bad they are not available for left hand. Not everyone is right handed.

These are awesome they worked for casting braid all day. They are going to be a little stiff at first but once you start using them it gets better.

I litterally fell in love with this product, I recently started salt water fishing for bigger game such as rays and sharks, but with brand new braid on reels it’s very easy to just slice your finger and it ends up ruining your time because then you have a tough time casting, worth every penny !

I don't actually fish, which is what I think these are meant for. I needed something to protect my thumb and forefinger at work - I have to handle a lot of metal and my skin was getting worn on those two fingers. Ordered this baby and I'm all set! I don't wear it constantly, but it's quite comfortable and does exactly what I wanted. Can't go wrong with the price, likely to order a few more for extras as I expect it will wear out eventually with my particular use.

Bought it to protect my right thumb from being torn apart AGAIN by a bass's front teeth!! But, I need my right hand to extract the hook, so, I tried it on my left hand and it works just fine!! So, I ordered two more, one for me and one for my fishing buddy!! Only drawback is the Velcro on the strap. I think it could be a little heavier duty to last longer.

Survived a week of mixed bait caster and spinner casts of 8 and bait at the OBX. Can wear all day and don’t really notice until you start sweating. I plan on ordering several more! I didn’t expect to like it so much or for it to last, exceeded my expectations for sure.

Fits my 14 year old sons hand/wrist perfectly. It helps with the fish tearing up his thumb and finger.

Whoever decided a one size fits all glove should have one inch of Velcro, failed. If you normally wear an XL glove, or have swollen hands, this will be ok. The fit is horrible.

It serves the purpose of not allowing the line to slice your finger when you cast.I don't need anything for my normal surfcasting setup to avoid cuts.but my big setup which is a BG8000 spooled with 80# braid on a 12' ugly stik slices my finger all the time when I'm trying to chuck 6 oz weights.This glove definitely stops the cutting but it just doesn't feel right... It's like "taking a shower with your socks on" ... Just doesn't feel right, that's the best way I can describe it. It gets in the way and I can't get a solid cast.Maybe with more practice, I will get used to it and be able to get longer casts.I am going to buy a break-away cannon next and try that, this was a cheaper option so it made sense to try it first.
