1 tablespoon French green clay
2 tablespoons raw apple cider vinegar
1 drop frankincense essential oil
2 teaspoons Fuller’s earth
1 teaspoon honey
1 tablespoon rose water
1 teaspoon honey
1 tablespoon rose water
2 tablespoons Moroccan red clay
3 tablespoons rose water
1 teaspoon mashed avocado
3 tablespoons rose water

Combine ingredients and apply the paste to your skin, avoiding the eye and lip area. Wash off after 10 minutes. If the mask begins to itch excessively, go ahead and wash it off early with warm water. However, slight tingling is to be expected. You can also add 1-2 teaspoons of your choice of powdered botanical: calendula,Chamomile, lavender, yarrow, etc.

*Quick/heated method-Put oil in heavy pan and heat to about 120’F, stir in crushed/rubbed botanicals and remove from heat. After it’s cooled, return the pan to the heat slowly to no greater than 120’-130’ or you will risk losing the therapeutic properties. Repeat process over a 4-8 hour period. Strain through a fine sieve or cheese cloth while still warm. Be sure to squeeze all the oil from the botanicals.
*Cold infusion method-Warm oil and place in clean jar with the crushed/rubbed botanicals so that they are fully immersed in the oil. Let sit in sunny window or outside if weather permits for 30 days for best results.
