When trying to remove ticks with tweezers, tick tweezers or fingernails, the tick is often squeezed. Pathogens can thus be pushed into the wound unnecessarily, which can lead to serious diseases. The Nuremberg doctor and physicist Dr. Matthias Meinhold has intensively dealt with this problem for 20 years. He managed to revolutionise tick removal after 5 years of development. The tickSAFE tick gripper was born. This makes it possible to grip small and large ticks painlessly and without excessive pressure instead of squeezing them. Thanks to the automatic rotation of the tick gripper, the tick is gently and quickly turned out. Depending on the size of the tick or the surrounding situation, an open and a closed gripper head are available in the set. Note: The VET kit is generally intended for the removal of ticks in animals. In addition to the "tick gripper VET", retrofit kits are available on gripping heads (replacement geifer VET and MED). For hygienic reasons, it is advisable to change the gripping head after some time. If ticks burst and smear the gripper with blood, it is recommended to change the gripper head. If ticks in humans want to be removed with the tick gripper, we recommend the replacement gripper MED. This retrofit kit includes a gripping head specially designed for people (white gripping head). As a rule, ticks are detected in animals rather later (in a larger stage) than in humans. On the other hand, people tend to notice "early" when a tick has docked. The green gripping head is therefore made of a harder material and has a larger cavity compared to the MED version, in which the gripping head is therefore made of a rather soft material and a small cavity

Tracking & Notifications

Every order is fully trackable. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. If your order ships in multiple packages, each package will have its own tracking number. If you don’t receive a shipping confirmation immediately, your order is still being processed and will arrive within the estimated timeframe shown at checkout.

Order Changes & Cancellations
