Astronaut Charles M. Duke has taken the Comb Model 315 for personal hygiene on his flight with the Apollo 16. And taken as a pilot of the moon ferry and during its 3 EVA's (extra vehicular activity), the exit to the moon surface. The comb has been tested beforehand and classified as suitable for this due to its material properties.
The "Charly" comb was then taken again from the moon ferry Orion to the command capsule Caspar and taken by Charles M. Duke even after the splashdown, the landing of the capsule in the Pacific Ocean. He was later auctioned for a good cause.
