Located in Chatsworth, CA, Sun Laboratories operates its own laboratory. PREPARATION: To achieve longer-lasting results, it's essential to prepare your skin properly. Your body undergoes a natural exfoliation process over seven days, while your face does so in just one day. Therefore, we recommend the following steps: Shave using sharp blades to accelerate the exfoliation process, ensuring that your tan lasts longer. Shower and use Sun Labs exfoliator. This will effectively remove dead skin cells, resetting your body's exfoliation cycle and enhancing the longevity of your tan. After your shower, avoid applying body lotion to ensure optimal tanning results. APPLICATION: For the best outcome, apply your self-tanner after showering when your pores are open, allowing the bronzer to penetrate deeper into the epidermis. Follow these steps: Use a tanning mitt or vinyl glove to avoid staining your hands, as the palms have no pores. Apply the self-tanner in a circular motion to prevent streaking. Apply a smaller amount of self-tanner on the elbows and knees, as these areas require less product for a perfect tan. After applying, wait for a minimum of 5 hours before showering, but for the best results, wait for 8 hours. The self-tanner contains a cosmetic bronzer that provides a visual guide for application. After the recommended waiting period, you'll notice the cosmetic bronzer wash off, but the color will continue to develop, even beyond eight hours.
